I've had mine for three years. I don't need a new one....but I'm going to get a new one. I want a higher bed.

Re: How old is your bed?
The bed is probably over 10 years. The matress maybe half that. Both are still good.

Re: How old is your bed?
Mattress about 6 years old and I need a new one but can't locate just an 8 inch thick twin size foam mattress. (Don't want the "memory foam" that costs $1K either, just foam).

Re: How old is your bed?
My mattress is probably about 7-10 years old, and in need of replacing. The bed itself, is about 80-90 years old, as are the bureaus and nightstand that goes with it; the set belonged to my Great-Grandmother, who purchased it back in the 1920's, and I inherited it when she died in 1984.

Re: How old is your bed?
The bedframe and headboard are 5 years old and the mattress is only 6 months old. I had my previous mattress for 10 years.

Re: How old is your bed?
My bedroom set is antique, it was made in the 60's, very strong and solid. I bought a new Tempupedic Mattress and box spring in October 2010 so its about a year and a half old.
