Anybody who's ever eaten a pixie stick will know the sssssssss sound the sugar makes as it falls out of the straw. I don't have any idea why but every once in a while I hear a similar sound from somewhere in my throat, or sometimes it kind of sounds like Pop Rocks crackling, and I don't get what that means either. Has this ever happened to anyone else here?

I know what you are talking about. I always thought it must be a bit of acid reflux even though it is not uncomfortable.
