Now that it's summer, are you out in your yard mowing the lawn, gardening, etc., etc., or do you prefer to hire others to tend to your landscape?

Always do our own; however, a big specific landscaping project is inevitable and we'll definitely hire that one out.

Don't know if I'd call mowing, planting some flowers & raking leaves landscaping but it's a DIY thing around here.

Hubby does it, then in a senior mobile home park there isn't a huge yard. He built a planter that covers the whole front leaving just a small bit of lawn there.

I used to do my own but it became too much of a chore so now I have a gardener come in once a week.

The question doesn't apply to me anymore but I used to mow the lawn, etc. when I still lived at home. I guess it would depend on how big a pain in the neck it was balanced against how much I could get it down for. I have no idea how much a lawn service costs.

Uncle I pay 20 bucks a week to have the lawn mowed. 3 times a season they cut the shrubs and do Winter and Spring clean up which costs me 150 bucks twice a season. To me its worth it because I don't have the time to do it myself.

My roommate, he may do a little of it, but they'll hire as well.
