Hell, Canada hasn't yet merged with itself, how can you expect it to merge with the big bad brother to the south?

I don't want that however our present Prime Minister would gladly give Canada to the US. As it stands right now he just loves kissing butt and his favorite butt to kiss is the US's. Elections are a long way off and we are stuck with him doing anything he wants due to a fluke here he got a majority government on less than 40% of the votes. It is believed that if Canada still is Canada when that traitor is voted out of office that his Conservative Party will be forced to merge with the Liberal Party, and that the NDP will actually win a federal election for the first time.CeCe wrote:Can't even imagine why Canada would ever want to do that.

The North American Union, combining the US, Canada, and Mexico has been in the works for about a decade. They want the currency to be the "Amero". And proposed a superhighway to run from Mexico thru the US to canada. By sending all of the shipping jobs to mexico, then transporting the hauls to the US and canada, companies can save millions by not having to pay high US wages. The craziest thing is -- the first US customs check is supposed to be in Kansas City MO... smack dab in the middle of the country!

The North American Union, combining the US, Canada, and Mexico has been in the works for about a decade. They want the currency to be the "Amero". And proposed a superhighway to run from Mexico thru the US to canada. Why should the US merge with Canada? If I want to live in Canada, I'll move to Canada. Nothing against Canadians, but that would suck for the US.

I can believe it. It might not happen until I'm an old man, but I can see Canada becoming part of the US in my lifetime. Mexico on the other hand, eh.....
