If I had the accommodations I would. Always interesting seeing the world thru the perspective of a young person from another land.

I doubt I would. It's a long semester when a kid doesn't click with the host family. My friend has one per year and she has really had some issues. One thing I have seen with many of hers is that they are from wealthy families and then they are placed in a middle class home and are not very happy to be living an average life. Plus, they come with expectations that they will be living in a city like NYC or Los Angeles and are quite disgruntled to be living in the Midwest.

Nah. I dated one though when I was in High School, she was always at my house for dinner.
