Do you consider it rude when guests don't offer to help with the dishes after a get together?

Nobody ever does, and even if they do I still get stuck doing them all anyway.

It'd be nice if they offered, but I wouldn't take offense if they didn't.

    When I'm a guest, I offer.

I offer to help as a guest but in my kitchen I prefer doing my own dishwashing. Actually, my kitchen is only big enuf for one person.

This. You really shouldn't expect someone to clean up after you invited them over. Unless they just made an egregious mess.

Yes it is rude. More than likely I would tell them no need to but offering is a nice gesture and sometimes you do need help cleaning up after a meal.

co-signs They usually do offer but we tell them to sit down. Like when we're cooking and they ask if they can help I tell them, "Yes, I can't eat all this food by myself."
