Some of you may remember my post in the movie chamber about the Invisible War documentary that deals with the rapes occurring in the military. On IMDb its popularity is up 800% but nobody is talking about it, and if they do it's very...I'm not sure what the word is, like these people don't think soldiers rape other soldiers, male or female, it just doesn't happen and whoever made this film should be ashamed of themselves. And then there are those that I think are just trolls, typical 'they're entitled to it, the women soldiers just need to relax, etc', well the latest one is saying rape of female soldiers is only to be EXPECTED when women want to tag along with the boys. Basically saying that men don't rape other men in the military as well, only then he has another excuse for that one.
This idiot goes on about soldiers rape the soldiers they serve alongside because they have nothing else to do, that war keeps them too busy to rape and peace is their worst enemy because when they're idle they WILL turn on each other because they're trained to kill and destroy and these are the consequences, blah blah blah. And I'm just wondering, is there anybody in the world who is stupid enough to seriously believe any of this? By that logic, the only solution is either to keep all soldiers in a neverending war so they spend every waking moment in battle, or kill them as soon as there's any sign of peace so they don't go raping each other out of boredom.
