Oh, man sorry to hear that about your wife. Probably some stupid neighborhood kids. The stupid ass kids around here a few years ago were doing that.

Thanks Red. Vandalism did cross our minds too but it looks like it was just the vagaries of autoglass with a small chip and heat and cold extremes.

I once came out to find that my rear windshield completely shattered from the heat. My auto insurance covered it under the comprehensive policy-- i did not have to pay a deductible, and the auto glass guy came right to the house. Check it out!
