While you were out shopping, have you ever witnessed someone in the store stealing? If so, how did you react? Did you get involved?

I don't think I have.

I haven't. If I did I might mention it to an employee but I ain't hanging around to fill out no police report.

Yep. One time I was at a record store browsing and some dude comes up to me making small talk and eventually admitted that he was about to hijack some CDs. I just walked away. Didn't get involved. I think he thought I'd be cool enough to cover him.

I saw on old couple steal at Aldis. I can't recall exactly how it went, but he was paying and bitching about how everything rang up and she came forward with a cart with a bunch of pizza and when they bagged their stuff, they bagged the pizza too. I figured if the clerk was too clueless to see it, I wasn't saying anything.

Never saw anyone shoplifting.

Watched an old lady roll out the store with paid merchandise IN the cart and unpaid merchandise UNDER the cart.

Hell no I didn't say anything, and neither did the cashier lol.

Never when I was shopping cause I don't pay attention, but I have TONS of shoplifting stories from when i worked at Eckerd Drugs and JC Penney. At penney's a guy once pulled a truck right up to the doors and pulled a whole coat rack out of the door with all the leather coats. They were all wired to an alarm on the rack so he just took the whole rack!

Then there were other people who just thought i was stupid. A guy walked right up to the Levi jeans, picked up a stack of 6 pairs and brought them to me saying he wanted to exchange them--- he claimed they were the ones he BOUGHT adn was bringing back... and actually expected me to let him walk out with over $300! yeah right!

Only saw the aftermath, when they were caught.
