Tipper Gore actually thought these videos belonged on her Filthy 15 list because of the violence. WHAT violence? The A-Team had more violence than this! I think Dee Snider is right on target, when she goes on about sexual sadomasochism in music, it's only coming from within her own head because she wants to find it.


I love their music, it was just rock gold.



And HOW did they get the idea to put Zed from Police Academy in their videos? that's what I want to know.

hahahhaa... i remember having a cassette when they first came out... i bought them, judas priest, krokus, and quiet riot all at the same time.

The nuns went nuts cause they wore makeup--- and I remember my 2nd grade nun telling us that twisted sister and boy george were spawns of the devil! LOL

Don't like their music.

I think Kiss was better. Twisted Sister were corny and clowny.

I think that's the point though. I remember on VH1 some special where the members of KISS were talking about the highs and lows of their career and they said the minute they had 12 year olds at the concerts was when they knew it was bad. Whereas Twisted Sister seems like they might've actually been trying to appeal to an audience of 12 year olds and up because a lot of their music and videos had retaliation against authority figures like parents and teachers.

Twisted Sister is to Kiss what Poison is to Guns N Roses, if you catch my drift. On the plus side, Dee Snider seems decent when he's out of that TS clown drag.
