I have a gnawing feeling that Mittens may have more than a slight edge on Barry.

Who will win the swing states? Obama or Romney?

It's too early to tell. Romney hasn't even picked a running mate yet and they haven't even debated yet. Money is still being raised. Ads are barely starting to show on TV, if they are at all. I do know that Obama won't win as handily as he did in 2008. He needs to take extra special care and campaign wisely to gaurantee this one.

It depends on what's going on with the country at the time of the election probably. Even though some people may not like President Obama they also may not be willing to vote in someone who doesn't give two shits about them & whose main interest is in protecting corporations. He is completely out of touch with reality. That & he's just fucking stupid.

Agreed but then who would have thought that the US would elect Bush once, then actually do it again? Apparently many Americans are OK with dumb as a bag full of hammers.CeCe wrote:It depends on what's going on with the country at the time of the election probably. Right now it's a virtual dead heat between the 2 of them overall, but Obama has the slight edge. I think Romney if he campaigns harder in these "swing states" will have a better chance of swaying them than Obama will. The swing states from what I see are very Obama-cynical.

It's probably equally important that the Dems take back the House (and keep the Senate) from the obstructionists.
