These can be either international or regional. What parts of the country or world do you find to have the most ear pleasing accents?

For me, I like the accents on DC men.

I love island/Caribbean accents. It's a MAJOR turn on for me when I hear a guy speak in his native tongue, then switch back to an American accent in the next breath. My friend from Jamaica used to do that all the time. I loved it.

English... but only from certain parts of england. Some english accents are not understandable, and some irish are too thick for me to understand too.

But when I hear a "sophisticated" english accent.. i just want to hmmmmmmm

I like all accents as long as the English is understandable. IDK if I prefer any one - I hear a lot of them here; German, Russian, Caribbean, Spanish, French, Creole and I've talked to ppl in Italy and India.

Oh, and NY and Southern accents. Love them all.

When I first moved to New Orleans in the '60s you still heard that Cajun accent - it was nice. Now I guess you would have to go way out on the bayou to hear it.
