If you a friendly acquaintance of yours was in the market for a new home, would you recommend your neighborhood to them?

In the hopes of actually having a good neighbor around for once, maybe, in general I wouldn't even recommend the town. It's a retirement community, not much to do out here and not a lot of young people, and the ones that we do usually get as neighbors aren't worth knowing.

No....people here are so unperson-able. Ironically, I am reeling right now at the fact that the woman next door to me is hosting a block party tomorrow. I would have bet a grand two weeks ago that she would never host a block party. The pessimist in me thinks she has an agenda. The optimist in me has made crab salad and baked a pie. We shall see tomorrow.....Seriously, I have lived here almost six years, and she has NEVER smiled at me, which is better than her husband who has just scowled at me.
