How prepared is your place in case of a flood, fire, power outage, etc., etc. If any of these things happened, are you set up to cope, or would you be in trouble?

I think we would be ok. I keep a lot of canned goods on hand and we always have at least one case of bottled water as extra. Mentally, I would be a train wreck.

I have a pump for water, a fire extinguisher for fire, candles and battery powered lamps for outages and I have bottled water and canned goods for food. I should be ok

We go thru Hurricanes here and I've been thru several that knocked out the electric and blocked off roads with fallen trees.

Wilma in 2005 left two counties without electric for a few days and not everyone got electric for a couple of weeks or more. I didn't have electric for 3 days and did alright (got a gas stove & water heater). We stock up on water, but quite often the water is not affected by a storm and you can go back to tap shortly.

If it is a bad storm where we on the Beach have to evacuate I will likely go sit it out at work until it leaves then come back.
