I guess as of today I am looking forward to a trip to DC the end of Sept for a reunion of what's left of the WWII Bomb Group that my namesake Uncle Bob flew with. There are a couple still alive who knew him and on who was with him when the B-24 got shot down.
It will be different than my other trips to DC. I will be flying instead of going by train and staying at a hotel outside the city instead of downtown. a different adventure.
