It was in a tiny inbred community near my husbands job, then the mines shut down and there we were 35 minutes from the nearest town. The local school shut down and it took us 3 years to sell the place. We wee very glad to finally get it sold and out of the place. We had it fixed up pretty nicely, and now it is back to looking like a dump. Why do people buy properties just to destroy them? They took down the green house (OK since I think they are growing in the basement I can see that), then they tore down the barn, even the front steps, slowly the fence has been allowed to fall down, and the screened in porch is in tatters. They were sure fussy enough when the were wanting to buy, now they will play hell if they want to sell it.

We were leasing a duplex and the owner decided to put it up for sale. It was perfect timing as my son was about to start school so we decided to just move and find a place in a better school district.

I owned my family home, let my bro move in. Couldnt kick him out, and couldnt live with him anymore. Turned house over to him, and got an apartment. he had bad allergies to my cat, and refused to take pills. now the house is destroyed in a flood and we are just going thru bullshit trying to rebuild it
