    Agreed. SHG were definitely pioneers in the sense that they were able to get a rap song on the radio and charts, and were the first to do it, but the truth is that they were a put together group that was meant to exploit what was happening at the time in the streets and at block parties. "The Message" came a long and made hip hop at that time a lot more real.
