| Haven't seen it in a few years but I liked it a lot. Susan Sarandon was really good, especially the scene with the cop when she asked him if he was married & if he was sweet to his wife. | |

It HAS been a while, that was Geena Davis, and she wasn't asking him, she was telling him 'you be sweet to them, especially your wife, my husband wasn't sweet to me and look how I turned out'. I LOVE that line. | |

| I finally saw this movie for the first time last night. Eh, it was okay. The funniest part to me was when Thelma called home and her husband was like "Thelma! Hello!" and she hung up the phone and was like "he knows" and they couldn't get the trace. Shit like that is hilarious to me. | |

Yeah I think that would pretty well define how your relationship is with your husband, he sounds civil and you KNOW something's wrong. | |
