Both are generally regarded as having an extreme slant toward their respective right and left sides. If you've watched both news networks, which do you think is more slanted/bias?

Re: Fox News vs. MSNBC
I have watched both and truthfully, I think they're both about the same. I just try to make up my own mind.

Being more liberal-minded, of course FOX News irritates me more....but truth be told, they're probably both at the same level of zealousness when it comes to attitude.

Re: Fox News vs. MSNBC
One of the differences I have noticed is that Fox is more likely to do stories on George Zimmerman, Casey Anthony and Joran van der Sloot while MSNBC is more likely to do stories that are more grounded in issues that actually affect me. That's just what I've noticed anyway.

Re: Fox News vs. MSNBC
Most of them suck, including CNN but Fox shouldn't even be considered a legitimate news network.

Re: Fox News vs. MSNBC
Fox News is 80-90% right-wing commentary, right down to the commercials they play. In comparison, MSNBC is more "informational" in theme.

Neither one is actually newsy, they both are mostly opinion. I usually agree with MSNBC's opinions.

Ditto. Both networks are too steeply in editorial to take totally seriously as level news source. That's why it just never ceases to make me laugh that Fox News' tag line is "fair and balanced."

Re: Fox News vs. MSNBC
I think they are both equally biased, in the direction of their own viewers preferences. Staunch conservatives are more likely to watch Fox News because of its extreme right wing bias and staunch liberals are more likely to watch MSNBC because of its extreme left wing bias. I tend to prefer CNN which has more neutral programming and reporting than either of the other two. This is particularly noticeable during the "morning news" segments which are supposed to be apolitical in nature.

Re: Fox News vs. MSNBC
From what I've seen of Fox, they got their fair share of lefties too. lol But MSNBC, IMO, is much more slanted. People who aren't liberal extremists would never really see Fox as worse than a right slant. MSNBC is 100% in the tank for the lefties.
Of course, I don't particularly care for either. News networks in general these days aren't really worth it. Fox is the best of the bunch, which isn't saying much at all considering how low craphole networks like MSNBC set the bar. So yeah, the news these days is the sucks.

Well I'm not a liberal extremist and I see Fox News as having the worst right slant of any news media outlet (television or otherwise). Can you name another one that has MORE of a right slant than Fox News?Forgiveness Man wrote:People who aren't liberal extremists would never really see Fox as worse than a right slant.
