    If you could automatically become fluent in a second language, without having to go through the trouble of slowly learning it, which would you prefer?

    Spanish, for sure. I would love to be fluent, though I can speak very basic Spanish.

    French. I already know some Spanish and it would be the easiest to learn if I tried. I can actually understand Spanish more than I can speak it.....provided that you talk slow enough. French would be more work for me, so I'd pick that one.

    Italian. Even though my parents spoke it only my older brother and sister picked it up from them.
