I won't say what it's for but I'm paying monthly to pay it off, and it's gonna take some time (years).

I think the largest speeding ticket I got was for $130. I didn't have to pay it though, because the judge threw it out (God bless him.) I did have to pay a $120 fine for talking on my cell phone back in November. I forgot my bluetooth. Quick story:

I almost got a HUGE speeding ticket about 2 months ago. I picked up my friend and I was driving him up to the Bronx. He fell asleep in the passenger seat...I got on the highway and I was going to slow down, but I ran up on the cop before I could. He quickly pulled me over and I jerked my friend awake and told him I was getting pulled over. I was getting my license and everything ready and my friend hands me his PBA card and told me to give it to the cop. So I did and we made up this story about how we engaged and we were in a rush to see someone and the cop asks my friend who he knows on the force and he told him. Then he let us go. Had he given me the ticket....that would be a MINIMUM $360 fine, plus 6 pts off my license. I asked everyone I knew on the force after that to give me a PBA card!

Me? $50 and I had to pick up the garbage in the snow.

Nah, but I was doing 86 in a 55. I obviously caught him in a really good mood that day. And I was shaken up a bit by it...so for good measure, I told my friend to start driving and we switched drivers in front of the officer.
