Kind of, I know my mom's first ex-husband, not personally but I have talked to him. He got his arm blown off in Vietnam and recently had the rest amputated when it turned black.

Not an entire limb, but my friend who just passed, didn't have one pinky finger.

Just in a professional capacity - working as a Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide.
I took care of a guy with both legs amputated in his home and in the hospital cared for a guy with a hemipelvectomy (total removal of his leg and part of the pelvis).
