Bees. And I'm allergic to them, but I still find them fascinating.

Blood
There have been so many spiders & scorpions in the house for so long I don't really have a "fear". I'm don't have the Steve Irwin gene, so I'm not poking them with a stick but I don't panic when I encounter them anymore.

Oh, I forgot some ppl are afraid of blood. Doesn't really bother me.CeCe wrote:Blood...
Once (before HIV) this kid cut an artery in his wrist and I just grabbed it and squeezed as we rushed him to the ER. Blood was seeping thru my fingers but considerably less than when it was gushing.

I don't think I'm allergic to them, I've been stung a couple of times but I put a baking soda paste on them and it sucks the venom out so I don't know. But yeah, my mom is allergic to them and she's always afraid of when they fly around her, I do not care, I just let them go on because some bees are attracted by your sweat, and when you're nervous you do sweat, so I figure if I'm not bothered by them, they'll have less reason to hang around me.

In spring when we enter tornado season it never rains but it POURS in suddenly tornado watches and warnings and every Thursday or every one day of the week you can set your watch by there'll be watches and warnings and big clouds. Everybody gets all bent out of shape by the weather and what it COULD do. Our house got torn apart by the big one of '92 but after that we've been lucky and unless there's actually something touching down, I don't get too excited about it.
