    Is there anything you ever lent to someone and they never gave it back?

    Years ago, my friend was dating a guy, and I lent him a CD, though I did not want to. He never gave it back as they stopped dating after he screwed her over.

    Several of my Taylor Caldwell books were loaned to a friend, I finally went to her house to get my books back and they had been sitting in a box in the garage. There were only a few of the ones loaned to her. It was a very small community and all of a sudden another friend called me and asked if i had donated some of the to the new library , no I hadn't. Fortunately I had written my name in every one. So I eventually got them all back some were in pretty rough shape and I never loaned her another thing.

    I left my hat over a friends house once. Weeks went by and I barely noticed until he said it was over at his house AND that he had been wearing it out. I told him to keep it.
