First of all, do you read user manuals, or do you try and assemble/operate whatever it is on your own first? Second of all, do you you make it a habit of saving the manuals long after you need them?

Depends on how obvious the construction job is, like those bookshelves you pretty much know going in what goes where & when.
Also, most appliances you operate are pretty much standard, tho I will look at a manual if there are features I don't understand. But I'm pretty much plug it in and see if it works.

I never read the manual unless i get stuck somewhere, I can usually figure most things out on my own. I save all the manuals until I get rid of the product it belongs to.
