    Do you ever give away furniture to your friends or family; on the flip-side have you ever taken someone else's used furniture?

    Never gave it to anybody but that IS how we got our 'new' couch and we love it.

    I don't have much furniture, not even a bedframe (mattress on the floor). What I have has been with me for years and most of it is used/found. Yeah, I'm the guy that takes that nice real wood dresser off the curb.

    Bookshelves & DVD shelves are most of my furntiture items; a couple of them are pressed board self-assembly type but one I made myself in the '90s from a waterbed frame. A couple of shelves I just found, simple wooden shelves that fit those milk crates.

    My table is a plastic patio table with matching plastic chairs which I bot new and I also have a used dresser in the closet. That's it.

    Can't recall giving furniture away but we bought our dining room set off one of Deb's co-workers years ago. Oh yeah, and we commandeered her brother's old entertainment unit that we have in our bed room. That could do with being replaced.
