Compatibility doesn't have to mean everything is the same, it could be complimentary differences as well. My wife and I were compatible for many years, yet we had our own separate interests. But overall we shared the same attitudes about many things.

As long as we agree on certain things, laugh at certain things, be honest and upfront and can have fun and be comfortable with each other that is compatible enough for me.
