    I have always known that I should write a book someday, and I have seen such crappy work done. I understand that writing a whole book is a difficult task, but come on... there is some really bad books out there--- if they can get printed, so can I! lol

    I thought that I might try a fake name for the first one, in case it stinks though!! LOL

    Thanks to FM for inspiring me, I now have about 100 pages written. Thanks buddy! bear hug

    Publishing it... I would probably do it myself. I know someone who has published several books on her own. Does she have a NY Times Best sellers? of course not. But seeing it in print must be amazing for her. She is still able to go on book tours and has even gone to Europe on tour.

    Would you believe that I actually completed the story already??? I have 270 pages according to a 5.5 x 8.5 margin scheme... comes to like 58,000 words or something like that. I do have some editing and toying with it, maybe add some things, but just having the story itself laid out already is awesome

    So, what's it about? A novel? A how to? (BDSM?) big grin

    I toyed with writing back in the '80s and '90s. Wrote a lot of articles for nudist magazines then did my own little retrospective compilation of those articles in a xerografically published limited edition of 100, that were signed and numbered. Gave some away, sold some thru the mail and my nudist club sold the rest locally.

    It was the first writing project that I did on my first computer. Really desktop publishing. To make it by copier, I took all the fotos from the original magazine articles and made them into line drawings. It was a fun project. One of the magazine publishers was going to do a real venture with me, but it got bumped and eventually he and that venture died.
