For all you drivers out there, do you have a GPS in the car with you? How often do you use it? Do you find it helpful?

I have it but I never really pay attention to it. One day it's gonna be helpful I'm sure, but so far I've been lucky enough to not need it.

Re: Do you have a GPS?
My sister had it in her car when I was housesitting in Missouri. She had to program in any location and there were a few that helped until I saw how to get there. I didn't use it often to find where I was going, but it was a comforting to know I could punch "Home" wherever I was lost.

Re: Do you have a GPS?
I have GPS on my phone. It definitely comes in handy when I have to look up the address of somewhere abruptly. Most of the time, if I never been to a certain spot, I'm familiar on how to get to the general area. The GPS just saves me time from thinking about it and takes me straight there. They're amazing on off routes and country roads too.

Re: Do you have a GPS?
I do. It works most of the time and has some cool features. I use one of the standard voices but he's British so He says things like "take the motorway" instead of "take the highway". The first time we used my wife's going to our friend in Staten Island, the thing pronounced "Verrazano Bridge" as "Vachiano Branch". We laughed.
