    VILE Empty VILE

Post by Tony Marino Fri Sep 28, 2012 2:34 pm

These are the sick movies I watch, I often wonder what my attraction is to the horror and macabre. This is the last movie I saw, read what its about and really think about it, could you do it??

Fifty years ago Yale University professor Stanley Milgram held a series of social experiments based on Nazi war criminals' psychology. They were devised to answer a simple question: how far are people willing to go when instructed by authority? Nick, his girlfriend Tayler and their two best friends are about to find out. Abducted after a camping trip, they wake up in an unknown prison with two vials wired into the base of their skulls. They are not alone: another four people are in the same nightmarish predicament. Their task, set by a mysterious video figure, is to fill the vials with chemicals the brain produces when in extreme pain. Who will become leader of the pack and who will be first to suffer the excruciating agonies they must devise within the 22-hour time limit?

Hell no I wouldn't do this!!

Tony, this looks like a crazy movie. Did these people sign up for this voluntarily? Or are they prisoners like in the Saw movies? Is there something they get, like money or something, once they get through to the end?

Cheaps, no money is involved they are prisoners like in the Saw movies with the expectation that when they finish they are set free. As always there is a twist to that which I won't say in case you ever see it on cable or something.

I may have to tell someone I know, who likes twisted movies, about this. I may or may not watch with them. Looks like it might be a bit much for me. If it's like the Saw movies, then I should be fine.

Truthfully its less graphic than the saw movies but it still has blood in it. The whole concept of it really shook me up, imagining that really happening, its a nightmare!! Funny thing is that I was going to shut it off, the beginning of the movie is really slow and stupid until they get abducted into the house then it livens up so I am glad I stuck with it.
