Nope. I don't go to court unless it's mandatory that I be there.

Went to watch a court appearance with an intellectually disabled client at our facility - which we were trying to relocate anyhow. He cursed out the judge in court and was removed by the bailiff. Last we saw of him. He did not come back to our facility.

After my brother was arrested for fighting/creating a public disturbance, he had to go to court. I went with him. He was fined and put on probation.

Yes I was on the jury for a robbery and a witness for an employee v employer lawsuit.
In the first trial, the defendant was found guilty. He had stolen some items from the defendant's truck. His attorney was terrible. He talked down to the jury and couldn't keep his story straight. He was replaced mid trial but the damage had been done. I think his client was guilty in any case.
In the second, the employer was found innocent. Two women got into a fight. One of them blamed the supervisor for being a catalyst by egging the other on. Long story. The plantiff tried to sue the supervisor. But she really had no evidence.
I also participated in a mock trial for some law students were I was a part of the jury. It was a made up traffic accident case. I don't remember too much about it other than the lawyer for the defense got his story wrong.
