| Is there any seasoning or spice in your cabinet that you swear by? If so, what is it and what do you like to use it on? | |

| Ground Cumin - the flavoring of chile. I put it in many spicy dishes from black beans to chick peas with macaroni.
Coriander Leaves, also adds flavor to black beans and it is good in yogurt with tomato & cucumber (an Indian thing).

| I reckon salt and pepper get used the most but I like garlic as long as it isn't overpowering. | |

| My favorite spices are:
1. Cinnamon 2. Garlic 3. Ginger 4. Nutmeg 5. Oregano
Salt would probably go up there too, but I don't really consider salt a "spice". Spices come from are plants/vegetables. Salt is more of a "chemical compound" (probably the most abundant on the planet besides water) that even our bodies are made up of. I think people only refer to it as a spice because it is used as such (to change the flavor of food).
