Car Battery Died

My car battery died yesterday. I'm looking online to get some estimates on new batteries, and these things cost like $300. For a battery?! I'm damn near tempted to pull out my 10 speed....

A friend of mine just replaced her battery for something like $180. I'd keep looking if I were you.

A couple months ago there was a report in the paper, these two brothers got busted for stealing car batteries, they were caught with about 16 of them in their car. So apparently there's a market somewhere for ANYTHING.

Yeah, 3 bills for a battery is too much. If you can't charge it at Pep Boys or Auto Zone and work with it, I'm sure you can get a brand new one for much cheaper. Much cheaper.

You should be able to find one for half that or less. I agree with everyone else. Check your local Auto Zone, Pep Boys & other places like that. You can do way better than $300.
