This will be the first Halloween in over 90 years without Ray Bradbury gracing the holiday with his presence, but his legacy will live on through his writings, primarily Something Wicked This Way Comes, From the Dust Returned, and of course The Halloween Tree. This one is a yearly tradition for us to read, as well as watching the cartoon movie. 8 kids seek to save their friend's pumpkin spirit from a soul collector on Halloween night and in the process travel back 4000 years to discover the origins behind the ghastly costumes they wear. Has anybody read it?
