Do you have any pre-owned items?

Items as in furniture, appliances, etc., or items as in anything that you can buy used?

Re: Previously-owned items
I am sitting on an old swivel chair thrown out of an office writing this on a used Dell computer.
All my real wood bookshelves were found on the street and all my other furniture (aside from the pressed board stuff I put together out of a box) came from second hand stores.
All my plates and cups are used restaurant stoneware and I have a stainless steel pot and skillet I found in the trash.
I feel good about retrieving stuff that would have been wasted.

Re: Previously-owned items
As I like to go to a number of yard sales in the summer, I have quite a few things that are previously-owned/used - books and some furniture. My vehicle, and the local video store sells recent (but used) dvds for $5, a couple of which I have. Also have a few used CDs.

I am the resale queen, so yeah, lotsa' used stuff here. When my stepdaughter was younger, she and her cousin would play, "used or not" at my house.

Great game for the kids to play--makes them think and use their imaginations, instead of just sitting in front of the Nintendo!

Re: Previously-owned items
yes a lot of stuff, we love yard sales, I have a couple of bookcases full of yard sale books. Almost all of my duck collection, hubby's computer chair, coffee table and end table, even the sheets on our bed.I even have a few electric small appliances that I bought at yard sales, I don't think they were ever actually used. My latest purchase in that line is a stainless steel meat slicer.I paid 10 bucks for it I don't think it was ever used and on sale at Canadian Tire this week is one just like it for $99.00. Other items were the old slicer its basically plastic I paid $15.00 for it , my crock pot also unused and huge 15 s well. I have a very handy dandy citrus fruit juicer 5 bucks (also new in the box) and a steamer again 5 bucks very lightly used, my blender I got for 5 bucks, I suspect it was a wedding gift that was unwanted. I bought it years ago for 5 busks and it is still going strong. My best buy however was a top of the line but old dishwasher that I paid 20 bucks for, it obviously hadn't been used much and was clean as a whistle. We built it in and as far as I know 9 years later it is probably still going, it was sold with the house. Even a few of my dishes were from yard sales. Some baking glassware too. Ah yes I do believe I am the yard sale queen! If I like it and it is clean why not?

Oh Yeah! I forgot about my DVD collection. Of the over 600 I have, most are used.

Exactly! LOL Only she thought I was ridiculous for all my used shit around the house. Now, she is an adult teaching elem. school and adores all my used finds for her classroom. It's rather amazing how we dorky parents become cool when the kids reach adulthood.....

I have a few wall pictures that I bought from other people.
