Hi Everybody,

I imagine there's a variety of people here - single, divorced, widowed, married, in a relationship, etc. - so I'll just ask this question to whomever might want to share their thoughts. How many times do you see yourself getting married? If at all?

I've never been married, and to be honest, I'm not sure if I want to marry. If I do, I can't see myself getting married more than once. It sounds way too exhausting for me.

Agreed, but I want kids more than I want to be married, unfortunately I don't believe in having kids without being married so that screws me over.

No more than twice. If I couldn't get it right by the second time, then I'd hang it up.

Still on my first. I expect it will be my last but if not I don't see more than one more.

On my second. This is my limit.

I too am on my first, we celebrated our 55th anniversary last June. I don't see myself ever marrying again. I must say though my cousin was married almost 50 years when her husband died. She plowed through his insurance money in about a year , 3 trips to Hawaii helped. Then she met an old guy and poor old fellow married her. He doesn't have money so I don't know what possessed her, but at nearly 80 she has a brand new husband. I'm told he is religious and wouldn't live with her without marriage.

I have been married once... i think most people's first marriage's breakups are due to immaturity and selfishness. They are too young to realize what is important... what to compromise. I see myself being married again-- hopefully freakin soon.. like 3 or 4 mos soon!

Once was enough. It took me ten years to realize that. I decided after that was over never to do it again. And I didn't.

If it happens, it happens. I know I don't want to be a spinster. But I'm not desperate to get married either, at least not right now. Ask me this question in 10 yrs.

Hopefully just once, but twice is my limit.
