Just did mine today and put it in the mail tomorrow.
I would have done the early voting but this year we have about 10 pages of ballot with a bunch of state amendments, judicial elections and city stuff so the voting would be slow. So much nicer sitting at my table and doing it.

I don't know about the absentee ballots in the US but here in Canada they get counted last and usually the election is called before the absentee ballots are counted. I had to vote absentee once, my vote in fact was taken by the designated person from my hospital bed.I have never missed an election I was qualified to vote in since I was old enough to vote.

We've been told that one way or another we would be able to vote at our usual polling place. We'll see.
