Nice to see I wasn't the only one who came up with the idea of the North Koreans invading the US. Anyway, anybody planning to see this movie?

I might pick it up as a second movie. (Life of Pi opens that weekend)

I saw the original, cold war era classic when the thinking was serious that something like that could happen, like Failsafe and Manchurian Candidate.

A little more surprised they didn't make it China in the remake to keep "commie panic" alive. The original was interesting at the time. It was a different era. These little movies popped up like mushrooms everywhere. Even Chuck Norris got in on it.

I read it's supposed to be a coalition who invades us of which China is a part?
