    Question TMobile Android

    Post by wants2laugh Tue Nov 13, 2012 5:03 am

I admit, I'm technologically challenged. I have refused to get a smart phone, opting instead for my LG flip phone--- which i broke a month ago and havent replaced yet.

I'm thinking of a TMobile My touch Q. Anyone have any experience with these? I am VERY rough (in many way lol)... and I have worried about breaking the touch screens... the Q is thicker and heavier than others i have seen.

    what are ur thoughts

Just took a look at the My touch Q. My son has a Droid that is a touch screen only & that thing drives me nuts. But it looks like this one also offers the physical QWERTY which is the way I would want to go when I finally bite the bullet.

Thanks... i originally thought that i would hate the swype feature, and thought that with the Qwerty being so small that i would hate that too. I bought it tonight, and although I like it, I'm annoyed at the rings/notifications. Thephone keeps beeping and vibrating, and I can't tell the diff between a text/email/FB..... really got to figure this out.. cause yahoo messenger is my only contact with chris most of the time sad

Check in "Tools" for sounds settings. There should be a call settings feature that will let you set tones & notifications for everything.

    Question Re: TMobile Android

    Post by Nystyle709 Mon Nov 26, 2012 7:18 pm

Android is cool....haven't had any problems with them. It can freeze up sometimes, but that depends on the phone. My screen cracked on my HTC and I was regulated to using an old flip phone I had till I could get another one. Then realized that my insurance that I had on the phone, I have to pay a deductible before I got a new phone.....which doesn't make much sense because I'm due for an upgrade in March. Guess I have to work with what I have till then.
