How much are turkeys at your grocery store?

What a gyp, usually we can get a generic turkey at 50-70 cents a pound, provided you buy $50 of other groceries first. This year the sales price is 97 cents a pound WITH an additional $20 purchase, otherwise they're $1.20 a pound. Usually we get a 25 pound turkey, this year the biggest one my dad could find was a 19 pounder, I got a 23 pounder and it almost cost $30 without the sales discount. And these are the CHEAP turkeys. How about everyone else?

I have a coupon for a free turkey at my supermarket because I spent like hundreds of dollars there.

I've learned you have to jump on them early. Got a Butterball for 87¢ lb. The more off brand types are running around 49¢ lb.

I haven't checked. I won't be at my house for Thanksgiving. Picking up a store made pie and going to my cousin's house.

I don't have time to make anything. I work 3-11 on Wednesday, then 7-3 on turkey day. I don't feel like making anything 24 hrs in advance either. Besides everyone's cool with me bringing pie.
