    I asked this in the Game Chamber but not everyone goes there. I am not a fan of pumpkin pie and I generally don't care for sweet potatoes (pecan pie is my favorite) but I tried a dish that someone brought to the Thanksgiving dinner we went to (to be polite) and it wasn't bad. Now I'm wondering if I might also like sweet potato pie. Does anyone have a recipe they're proud of? I'll understand if you don't want to give away some family secret Wink .

    I'm not a big fan of pumpkin or sweet potato pie, but will eat them when available, just wouldn't order it if there were pecan or apple pie available.

    I prefer sweet potato over pumpkin tho.

    They taste the same to me. Other than the base (punkin vs sweet potato) the other ingredients are the same. Only the consistency is different, and for that reason I'd say that I prefer sweet potato pie just because it isn't as "mushy" as pumkin pie. I can't eat pecan pie because I'm allergic to nuts.

    My sister made a home made pumpkin pie yesterday, it was the best pumpkin pie I have ever had. Very smooth and creamy.

    SWEET POTATO!!!! I like pumpkin pie too...but I can tell and taste the difference between the two. Nothing like a good sweet potato pie. NOTHING.
