Met up with some friends last night for the tree lighting in Rockefeller Center. There must have been half million people, it was packed!! Got there a bit early so I was pretty close up. Saw Mariah Carey, she looks great and sounded even better! Il Volo stole the show, those 3 boys can sing. Loved the legendary Tony Bennett and Rod Stewart who is looking kind of mummified these days LOL. The entire area was a mass of lights and trees and the crowd was full of energy! I rarely do anything New York but I am glad I went last night, even if it took me 45 minutes to walk 1 street block!

I haven't done Rockefeller Center in a minute. I might go by there this year and do some ice skating.
