    Not me, but back in the 60's my mother picketed for Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers. I expect Shale has some stories Wink .

    "We're Here - We're Queer - Get Used To It!"

    Been to a few Gay Pride rallies. Joined in taunting the KKK who crashed our Gay Pride Picnic in Gainesville.

    Protested the impending Iraq war in 2003 at a rally in downtown Miami.

    1973, joined a rally protesting Geo. Bush and the CIA in Kansas City. (My ex GF took me to it while I was visiting her)

    Yep, just once. The province in its wisdom (and not giving a shit) decided to close the local Group home, one woman in the group home was promised that they would find her a home here near her sisters who she said loved her but couldn't take care of her. Kathy has the mind of a 6 year old and so needs taken care of , however she is sweet , loving and very well behaved. A large group of us protested , carried signs an all that but it didn't matter they had lied to Kathy and sent her to the city one and a half hours from here. That was a couple of years ago, today to our surprise and delight, Kathy is back living here again. I don't know how that happened but everyone is really pleased to see her back home here in our town .

    In 1994.. i was visiting my sister in san diego. I was only 19, and driving her car seeing the sights. There were thousands of ppl marching, and while stopped at a traffic light i asked what it was about. They were supporting a woman who shot her son's molester.. the story is below.

    Anyway.. I thought... "Hell yeah! I support shooting child molesters too!" I joined in with the group.. and the woman who promised she would take me back to the car got separated from me. Hours later, I had NO idea where in downtown san diego i left my sis' new BMW LOL I didnt know the plate number or anything.. I had someone from the rally drive me up and down the streets trying to find it LOL

    I dont know if you call this a protest... but when i went to see hillary clinton at a local college, they would not let me in unless i pledged to vote for her. I freaked... WTF??? i hadnt decided to vote for her which is WHY i wanted to hear her speak... I started a big fight... rallied people around shouting how they were violating my privacy rights--- we vote behind a curtain for a reason.. and secret service chases me and my bro away LOL... followed us right off of campus lol
