They'll probably build on that idea some. Maybe even have custom made personalities. Wink

Oh right, forgot about Ritalin. Hmmmm, maybe they'll claim they got the ability to transfer your child's personality to a new body. So they will kill your current child but save his personality and transfer it to a new and supposedly better body. FORGIVENESS MAN Sci-fi, here we come!

    Still think it's unethical.

Interesting. I'm usually the one with more conservative views, yet this one doesn't particularly bother me.

As for "designer babies" . . . it's coming. Give it another 20 years. And that will be really scary! cries

Yep, already in fiction and those things quite often come to happen IRL.

While I am opposed to aborting fetus's due to gender, there are natural things parents can do to try to influence the gender of the baby. It does take planning however to time the insemination right.

Coming or not, still don't mean it's right, you're basically saying you are incapable of loving your baby unless they are born looking perfect. They MUST measure up to your standards at the time they come out of you or they weren't worth having.

We've already had experiments with cloning, though there hasn't been any coverage on that in a long time. Now THAT concept creeps me out!
