| Don Cornelius actually shocked me the most. I can't believe he killed himself over some broad. And Sherman Hemsley. He wasn't that old at all. MCD is another one. I didn't know Donna Summer was sick, but if you have lung cancer, you should pretty much expect the inevitable. Whitney's was the least shocking actually. It was sad....but really, that writing was already on the wall. Whitney was coke head. She couldn't stay clean and it was going to do her in eventually. | |

| I don't know if I was that shocked by any of them, but the deaths that stood out to me most this year were Whitney Houston, Dick Clark, Donna Summer and Larry Hagman. | |

| Deborah Raffin was a surprise. She did a lot of stuff in the 80s.
Probably the biggest shock for me was Johnny Lewis. I had no idea he had these mental issues.
I didn't know Al Freeman Jr had died. Watched OLTL many years ago & was fond of his character.
