We just saw this movie last night for the first time, I LOVED it. There are just so many things about the East Side Kids to like, it's hard to know where to start: obviously they're funny, but they could also be serious, and a lot of their movies tended to have some message to it, and though they were a bunch of goof offs they always had the best of intentions. I was really surprised by them in this movie, they sell all their belongings, including Glimpy's prized violin, to buy flowers and give some money to a murdered man's widow to pay for the damages they caused to his shop. Now there's something you won't find in a movie today.

Yes, once, didn't see the sequel though, or was it a sequel? the Angels Wash their Faces?, never saw that one, but I liked the first one. James Cagney and the Dead End Kids, you can't beat that kind of entertainment.
