Glad to see that Django Unchained made it - I really enjoyed the movie.

What category? "Rewritten Historical Bloodfest?"

It's sad that it's so easy to guess the nominees. Is there ONE true surprise on here beyond maybe a scattered exclusion?

The Academy Awards have ceased to be relevant to me years ago. I’ll tune in to see the opening number and Seth’s monologue. I’ll read about the rest the day after. I miss anything good and I'll catch it on YouTube or whatever.

I agree they are too boring to bother with anymore. The only way I would watch is if there was absolutely nothing on TV that night.

I imagine we'll be able to guess the winner as it gets closer merely by what movie currently has the most buzz.
