The Volusia County Sheriff's Office reported on Jan 9 that a Florida man's ex-wife had used a stun gun on him and then tied him to a truck bumper and dragged him for half a mile. On Wednesday, Robert Hall, 54, sustained critical injuries before he could escape. He was being treated for broken facial bones, bleeding from the brain and a broken pelvis. Hall was in Halifax Health Medical Center In Daytona Beach in the surgical intensive care unit on Thursday.

The incident took place in a rural part of New Smyma Beach which is a popular Florida resort town. Robert Hall usually stayed at the house of his ex-wife, Jeanette Morris, 61, when she was on the road working as a truck driver. Morris returned home on Tuesday night and found out that Hall had brought his girlfriend in the house. Morris, her brother, Harold Anderson, 63, and a woman named Joan Hobart, 46, started drinking vodka with Hall.

Evidently, the three turned on Hall, used a stun gun on him three times, struck him in the face and put a gun to his head according to the sheriff's department. Then they tied Hall's ankles together, tied his hands behind his back and tied the rope to the pickup truck's bumper and drove down the road for about half a mile. According to the report, they stopped the truck, the three threw Hall into the bed of the truck, cut off part of his hair and discussed scalping him and searching for a hole to bury him in.

When the truck took off again, Hall jumped out of the bed and ran for help. Jeanette Morris, her brother, Harold Anderson, and the girlfriend Joan Hobart have all been arrested. Morris and Anderson are charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment. Hobart was arrested for her role in the incident on Jan. 10 and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated battery, attempted murder, aggravated assault and false imprisonment, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

Oh, they now know the identity of the ppl who set a man on fire for no apparent reason on Xmas day here. They are on the run but their pix are now on TV. Just a matter of time before those asswipes are caught.
