Yes, many times, it was good, but I preferred Wes Craven's original ending.

The one where Nancy wakes up and the whole movie was just a dream?

Yes. I liked the 3rd movie but I really think they should've stuck at 1, the sequels don't have a good track record.

Of course. I own it. One of the best horror films ever made.

Yes I own the series, all of them!!!! Got them as a gift. I thought the re-make was pretty good.

Oh my yes many times. This movie used to terrify the crap out of me when I was little. I also think it's the best of the series. The others are fun and scary in their own way, but this one is the one that literally gets in your bones.

Yep. The best one in the series, but to this day...I refuse to watch that, and most horror movies, by myself at night.

Great scary movie, and I agree with the posters that stated it was the best of the series.
