Wasn't he the reason we got President Ford, because he had to leave office before his term was up and his elected crooked VP left before him. So, Ford was the first unelected prez because of the corruption in Nixons presidency.
I would say Carter shoulda had a second term - not so much that he did such a good job but because he was such a good man. (The opposite of Nixon)

Sorry. Carter may be a good man but he didn't do that great a job as POTUS.
